I Take Mud and Make it Pretty, What’s your Superpower!?

Hey! I am Sophie, and I am absolutely obsessed with ceramics! I started my now life long adventure of pottery in middle school and have not put it down since. Throughout my teenage years I took many classes and fell deeply in love with the craft. After graduating high school I took a year abroad in Italy to study ceramics and sculpture at a craftsmanship school in the heart of the Florence. Much of my inspiration for creation and living in general comes from my extensive travels, my love of nature, movement and anything I find pretty. As a creative I think it is phenomenal that I can use my hands to produce something that not only holds a purpose but adds to this already beautiful planet we live on!
